Compensate me for running
161 wordsI really don’t like running. I have to do it because it’s the least-worst way of avoiding an early death from obesity and heart disease. But that doesn’t stop it being boring and painful.
It might help if I got some sort of warm and fuzzy feeling that by doing it I was making the world a better place. Hence, I urge you to sponsor me in the 10Km ‘Regency Run’ in April. It’s easy to do and if you’re a UK taxpayer, Mr Taxman will boost it up a chunk by throwing back in some of the money that you paid in income tax. Or something.
Here’s the page if you want to donate to Oxfam.
Here’s the page if you want to donate to Amnesty.
Alternatively, I’d be very pleased if you were to donate to the Open Rights Group — directly at their web site, since being a lobby group rather than a charity, they are not known to JustGiving.com.
Thanks in advance!
