Ages since Microsoft Live Local managed it, Google Earth has satellite imagery of Leamington Spa at a useful resulution. Having Google Earth’s tilt and rotate functions along with terrain data makes it fantastically entertaining.

Apparently “most of the country” is not covered at “50m level”, whatever that means. Empirically, it seems to mean that you can identify individual cars.

Alas, Aberystwyth hasn’t made it. If you go to the Glastonbury site, you can see a working farm with festival scars, and the skeleton of the Pyramid Stage.

These imagery updates usually make it to Google Maps a few days after they’ve been rolled out to Google Earth.
