Ruth and Dave visit
140 wordsSister Ruth and brother-in-common-law Dave made the Leamington stop of their whirlwind tour of the UK, between their big trip to New Zealand and Japan, and their imminent emigration to Canada.
Fortunately, when they arrived, they were as tired from socialising and jetlag, as I was from Jollyfest, and Debbie was from examiner work all day.
On Sunday, while Debbie went to work again, I took them on a little walk around Leamington, fed them, forced them to edit their thousands of photoraphs into an acceptably small slideshow, and played on the Wii.
When Debbie returned, we fed them again (as it was a special occasion, we thawed the kamaboko!), plied them with wine, accepted numerous Japan tips and recommendations, viewed the aforementioned slideshow, then tucked them up in bed.
They left on the train for Aberystwyth in the morning. See you next week!
