At Home with John and Debbie

A very dissatisfying morning so far:

• Got quite a nice shirt out of the wardrobe. Went to iron it, found white paint on it. No idea how it got there. It’s probably ruined.
• I left the house to find the paper on the doorstep, missing the main section. I just have the sport and G2.
• Walking to work, I was firmly struck on the chest by half a carrot. The fatter end. A quick glance around suggested that the culprit was hiding. Stupid school holidays. I decided not to waste time or dignity trying to do anything about it.
