The tilers are in, and we are exiled from our living room and our proper TV. We rented some DVDs from Choices to watch in the spare bedroom, on a 17in computer monitor. We decided that this meant subtitled films were a bad idea.
So, last night we watched:
A History of Violence. The critics [...]
Steve drove us up to Oldbury, to see Tividale’s amazing sloping pitch, where Causeway share the ground.
As is common, the ground had underestimated Leamington’s travelling support and struggled to cater for all the hungry people. I got some curry and chips (rather nice) just as their frier overheated and threatened to pack in for [...]

Now, [...]
My hands sore from DIY, we went to the New Windmill Ground for the first match the MFA season, against Oadby.
Oadby gave a good solid game, and as we went into extra time, the 0-0 scoreline seemed mostly consistent with the run of play. Leamington had been denied a penalty earlier in the game [...]
On my Videorama tutorial I solicited better names for the technique — since “videorama” has been used in many other context, most notably as a publisher of porn DVDs.
A commenter named Jonah suggested “Slivr”. So, that’s what it’s called from now on.
