Coke Zero
104 wordsNow you see, I’m in the market for a pleasant low-calorie soft drink. I really don’t like the taste of artificial sweetener, even the ones that supposedly taste of nothing, so I’ve never been able to enjoy Diet Coke, Diet Sprite, any of that stuff.
I used to have a can of Coke with every lunch, and when I stopped my spare tyre began to recede. So the promise of Coke Zero — Coke acknowledges that Diet Coke doesn’t taste like Coke, and comes up with something low calorie that does — is appealing.
But here’s the thing: it’s just as horrible as Diet Coke. Shame.

I agree: just as bad tasting as diet coke. I’m no fan of Pepsi Max either but I like their new ad campaign “Max Taste, Zero Hypeâ€?. It seems to me that artificial sweetners just don’t taste as nice as sugar.

Is it just me or is Coke Zero just Diet Coke rebranded and sold on again to the sugar fearing public? Genius if you ask me. Another shed load of cash earnt, for VERY minimal effort. Those Coke boys have us all sewn up.

It’s really a lot better than Pepsi Max! Diet Coke tastes very bitter and Diet Pepsi is meh, I don’t know why people are saying it’s the same shit from a different dog?

Actually I think it’s different shit from the same dog…

Try Tescos Diet Fiery Ginger Beer. at 2p/100ml they are almost giving it away. Tastes much better than all the colas (allegedly)

You’re all wrong Coke Zero is lovely, and you better get used to it because it’s going to be around for some time, apparently. It’s supposed to be taking over from regular Diet Coke, to go alongside Fanta Z(ero), Dr. Pepper Z(ero) and Sprite Z(ero). The word on the street is that use manly types weren’t buying Diet Coke as it was a womans drink. Hence the launch of Coke Zero in a manly black can and “hilarious” blokey adverts.
PS I realise I’m a bit late with this comment, hey ho.
