Where babies come from

109 words

I followed a link from the B3TA newsletter:

>> How Germans have babies <<
An illustrated sex education book aimed at
children; see how the beardy German man and
pigtailed German lady get it on. Especially
likes the cheerful labour scene. But why is the
doctor carrying a hammer? "We're pretty sure
it's going to be a baby, but it could be a bear"?

What I got was not a good laugh at the expense of Germans, but nostalgia; for this very book, translated into English, is how I learned about the miracle of human reproduction.

… and it never did me any harm.

I remember that book! I didn’t realise it was quite so graphic or grinny but it never did me any harm either. In fact I think it did me a lot of good. Sex? No mystery there.
