At Home with John and Debbie

We rustled up quite a contingent for Leamington’s FA Cup 2nd qualifying round against Oadby. Steve S and Ian joined Steve W, Debbie and me.

Leamington drew ahead twice, only to succumb to an equaliser each time, so it’s a replay at Oadby (a “bus stop in Leicester”) on Tuesday, which we won’t be able to attend because Debbie’s teaching on Tuesday evenings.

The road to Wembley is not smooth.

Update: It’s worth mentioning the impressive attendance of 861. There’s plenty of Conference teams that don’t get crowds that size, and it was the fourth best attended match of the round, after AFC Wimbledon vs Walton and Hersham, Nuneaton Burough vs AFC Telford United, and Chippenham Town vs Newport County.
