KEXP - Radio from the Pacific Northwest

141 words

On our last day in the States, driving from Olympia, through Tacoma to Seattle-Tacoma airport, we stumbled on local radio station KEXP, and I really liked it (Debbie neither loved nor hated it). When they mentioned an Internet stream, I scrabbled around for a pen, pencil, anything — and finally noted their name as a GPS waypoint.

Today I got around to finding their web site, and sure enough they have a stream I can listen to. It still sounds good, and I’m going to have to experiment to find the best time to listen. Not only that, but they have a podcast too. Fantastic.

The only downside of this is that I’ve been neglecting British music somewhat lately. What’s new, British and interesting? And don’t say Circulus unless they’ve suddenly learned to play music since I tried the MP3s off their site.
