At Home with John and Debbie

Last night we went to Bubbles for a birthday party expertly organised by JV, for Suzanne.

The place was packed: what a popular girl.

Young Rajiv showed his face, as did Ajay and Iciar (who we’d also spent some time with on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon — watching the football and meeting the dog at Tom and Abbi’s).

A sumptuous buffet was laid on, the only downside of which being that I ate so much I could barely move, let alone fit any drink in alongside it.

We walked home in the pelting rain. Debbie had an umbrella, Gary had a waterproof coat, but MC and I were soaked to the skin.
