105 wordsWe just watched Alien: Resurrection. We watched it for completeness. I’d seen it before and didn’t remember it as being all that good. Imagine my surprise then, to find myself thoroughly enjoying myself throughout. Top stuff!
I particularly liked Sigourney Weaver’s lizard-like demeanour throughout. I liked the action. I liked the dark humour. I liked the Poseidon Adventure tribute.
I think the problems first time around were partly that I hadn’t seen all three prequels, and partly that since it was directed by Jeunet of Jeunet and Caro, I wanted a flavour of Delicatessen which would admittedly have been great, but would also have been wholly inappropriate.
