Daquiri

67 words

I have possibly perfected the Daquiri.

For two perfect Daquiris: juice of 2 fresh limes, 2 teaspoons of sugar syrup, 80ml gold rum. Shake well with ice — so you get tiny shards of broken off ice — and strain into martini glasses.

There’s not a lot to it, but we’ve used white rum and caster sugar in the past, and gold rum and syrup make all the difference.
