More pubs

I was meant to be back at work today, but when I crawled out of bed and
decided to work from home for the morning, my manager expressed surprise (via
instant messaging) that I was back at work. So I asked for an extra day’s
holiday, and got it.
I spent the morning putting holiday snaps online. In the afternoon we
went to Big W in Coventry to replace a broken mirror. Their mirrors are cheap.
Afterwards, we drove around Leamington mopping up some outstanding pubs.
Outstanding as in “not yet photographed”, that is…
Today’s tally is 7: New Binswood, Star and Garter, Woodland, Heathcote,
Windmill, Wheatsheaf, and the Green Man. The Green Man was tricky to find.
When I did find it, a chavette on a bike asked why I was photographing the
pub — loudly, across the street — and was then keen to know whether I’d
done the Grist Mill yet. It’s on my list.
