They gave up when I enjoyed fish liver

I have just done Happy Friday: Japan.

It began at 5:30, and it ended at about 8:30, during which time we managed to sink four pints of strong lager and some sake in a wooden cup.

During this time, my colleagues, who are all very friendly indeed, played “feed the gaijin weird stuff”, and lost: please see the diary entry’s title for details.

I heard mutterings about natto, but had they brought out those biggest of big guns, they would still have lost. Admittedly, I wasn’t keen on some of the dressed squid, but I was told that many Japanese can’t stomach the stuff, so I still win.

The fish liver was actually rather tasty.

Can’t go to Japan without visiting a Karaoke this weekend.

If you learn how to play Pachinko, tell me.

I heard of someone who played that game and did too well, so they gave him just-detached-from-the-live-animal octopos tentacles. The suckers were still sucky. That had him beaten.
